Editorial policy
Honest Racing Review aims to make racing easier to understand through accurate, independent and clearly framed explanations. We distinguish what is established from what depends on context, and welcome readers who notice a mistake.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources before publication and avoid presenting a general explanation as if it describes every race, course or jurisdiction. When a point is uncertain or varies, we make that clear. Our articles are editorial explanations, not betting recommendations or professional advice.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not in exchange for a favourable description. Any material relationship that could affect how a piece is read is disclosed clearly. Partner arrangements do not determine editorial conclusions.
Corrections
If a reader points out a factual error or an unclear statement, we review the concern and correct material errors. Significant changes are identified in the article so readers can understand what changed. Send corrections through the Contact page and include the article title and the detail in question.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is labelled on the relevant page, and its nature is stated plainly. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when used, they are identified as AI-generated and are not presented as documentary photographs.
